Performs masonry from ordinary clay insulating bricks and fibre boards; masonry insulation with powder materials, asbestos cord; insulation with asbestos cord or mineral wool slabs in the places where the screen pipes (boilers) pass through the lining; prepares refractory mortars and refractory concrete by hand; sorts and marks shaped refractory products; dismantles refractory brick masonry and fittings.

Carrying out boiler work (cleaning heat exchangers, including using an air guide device, cleaning boiler equipment and other units).

Cleans the inner heating surfaces of fire tube and water tube boilers from scale, carbon deposits, slag, ash using a boiler-cleaning tool; cleans tubular air heaters, cyclones, scrubbers, collectors, rotating mechanisms, ash ducts and external heating surfaces of boilers; cleans burner screens, boiler furnaces from toxins using temperature measurement in the furnace; prepares additives and loads them into hoppers or appropriate containers; carries out replacement and restoration of a grit; prepares alkaline solutions of the required concentration; arranges work platforms and framing scaffolds.

Performance of work during thermal insulation of structures, pipelines, and technological equipment.

Performing simple refractory work during refractory masonry, laying of massifs and lining with ordinary clay and insulating bricks, as well as fibrous plates, lays cavities with brick and asbestos cord, prepares refractory mortars and heat-resistant concrete by hand, puts them in stacks; thermal insulation specialist performs simple work during thermal insulation of structures, pipelines, and technical equipment, insulation of hot surfaces, covering sections with wrapping material.

Carries out constant technical inspections, eliminates malfunctions, carries out current and overhauls of equipment, monitors the technical condition of equipment located in his service sector.

Disassembles, repairs, assembles, and tests complex equipment mechanisms; performs repair, installation, dismantling, testing, regulation, adjustment of equipment, units, machines and delivers them after repair; performs metalwork processing of parts; makes devices for repair and installation; compiles defective repair records; carries out rigging with the use of lifting and transport mechanisms and special devices.
